Ranking Tool
I started this project with a better understanding of what I was suppose to be doing. The tutorials in the Intel site was very helpful and informative to me. I did not have a partner for this project. I went through and found the CSO's and ISTE information that I needed to gather for my lesson. I then began to develop my page to provide the lesson plan that was developed for this. After all information was gathered and additional websites researched to gather information for additional information/games for students. The I began plugging in my information into the Intel account that I had signed up for. I fortunately did not have many problems with Itnel. I then put the finishing touches on my project. This type of projects could be very beneficial for students in the classroom. This can allow them to utilize technology, work with thier peers and become more informed. This is a good tool to use in the classroom. Her is my assignment.

Photo Shop
I enjyoed working with the photo shop. It was really cool to take the pictures and manipulate the colors. I also really like black and white photos. With all the different features available there is so many different options for the pictures. I used just a few different pictures and changed them. I am going to continue to use this feature for my other photos to share with family and friends. Here is my album.

Graphic from scratch
I went into power point and created a web to present my sites. I picked my top four sites that have been the most useful to me so far this semester. I provided the name and address for each of these sites. I saved this as a .jpg. It is 29.0 KB. This type of graphic can be used in connecting information to make it more understandable to students. This could also be a good way of teaching students how to link their ideas together. Any organization skills can useful to students and this tool can be used as one in class.
Chart 2

For this assignment I went through and found the four closest income per capita states to West Virginia. They are in order of lowest to highest Mississippi, West Virginia, Arkansas, Utah and Kentucky. These are the five lowest incomes in the United States and their combined average is 28568. I then went through and found the number of students with IEP's for each of the five states. The number of students is shown in the pie graph provided. The states are from lowest number of students to highest are West Virginia, Utah, Arkansas, Mississippi and Kentucky. In comparing the number of student to the per capita income I was surprised to see that West Virginia did have the lowest number of students. The per capita income was also very low and would lead one to expect a higher number of students to have an IEP. This was overall an interesting assignment in seeing the comparisons with the other lower income states.
Chart 1
To begin this assignment I searched the NAEP sites to obtain the data necessary to complete the graph. After gathering the information I went to the Kid's Zone site to make a graph. This site is very user friendly. Then I saved my graph in .jpg. The graph dimensions are 400x300 and it's size is 21.1KB.
In reviewing the data it is apparent that West Virginia did not reach the national average. The West Virginia scores were anywhere from one to six points below the national average. This could have been a lot worse. It seems that there is a fluctuation in the years as to how much of a difference there is. In 2000 there was only a point difference as compared to 2005 when there was a six point difference. In conclusion West Virginia is not doing too bad but could use some improvement in this area. As long as the scores do not drop any further in time West Virginia should be able to catch up with or exceed the national average.

Grab A Screen

I picked out a picture I thought was interesting. I found the two trees dancing and thought this is a really cool picture. So I added splashes of yellow with the fill in the color tool. I added a hat with the spray paint option and eyes with elipse and paint brush for the mouth. I used a text box and pasted into the picture. The size of the picture is 89KB and the dimensions are 400x534.
Self Portrait
This was a fun little project to complete. I used the paint program on my computer. Then saved it to FTP. This was a 24-bitmap project (.bmp). I used the spray paint for my hair and used the yellow. I used the brush for the mouth, the line for my nose and the elipse filled in for my eyes. Here is my self-portrait.
This would be a fun project for students to do at the beginning of the year. Have all the students draw a portrait of themselves. Then along with their portrait they could present some fun facts about themselves to the class. It would be a nice way to allow students to get used to speaking in front of the class and familiar with each other.

Reading/Questions
The article was very difficult to read and understand what it was trying to say. I actually read it like three times to answer the questions provided. So I finally completed it and here's what answers I came up with for Reading.

Reflection
This assignment really got me to thinking about how much I have learned thus far this semester. WOW!! It has been a lot due to when I started this class I had never done anything with a blog or even heard of an FTP or Embedding. This has been at times very frustrating class but when I can actually work through and see how I can make things work it is very rewarding. So here is my Reflection assignment.

Photo Story Lesson
This lesson moved along a lot faster than the previous. I had already download the Photo Story template to use which saved a lot of time. My computer is on dial-up internet and moves very slow at times. I went through and imported the slides I needed and added narration and music to the show. Then saved the presentation to my FTP site and to YouTube video.

Movie Maker
I initially had to download the Windows Movie Maker. I then converted the power point presentation to picture slides under jpeg. After this I transferred the slides to the movie maker. I added the additional slides needed along with the transitions between the slides for the movie. I then saved the movie to the YouTube. Then saved it to my google sites. I then transferred the movie to my FTP site.
Embedded
Here is the next part of the assignment. This part was not as difficult as the presentation. I hope this going to work. I am using my presentation that has been taking down to the bare essentials.
Here is the address it gave me to Embed my presentation. 5

Google Docs Presentation
Initially I had to cut the music out of my presentation due to it was to large to upload onto my Google Docs. Then I took all the pictures out of my presentation. Any extras that was in my presentation was removed but the basic information. This was the easy part after that I had a lot of problems with Google being up and working. I also have a very slow internet connection which is a problem within itself. I have had to try several times to get the presentation to upload in order to be able to share my presentation. I have spent several hours trying to get this to work.
After much screaming at my computer it finally worked so here it is
