FTP

This is my very first experience with FTP. I had never heard of this function before this assignment. It was somewhat difficult to navigate at first. Some of the questions that I had were also questions my peers had for this assignment. I am very fortunate that other students in this class are very literate in computers.

I had some difficulty getting into the FTP through the library at first but continued to try and try again. I have learned very quickly in this class to write everything down in order to know what I have done. Once I actually got into my FTP account things went much smoother. I was able to drag a file over without any trouble.

I can really see and understand how this can be a very valuable tool to use regularly. It allows you to work on projects from place to place without keeping up with discs and other things that can be lost. This will be something I would like to learn more about and be able to utilize in my current job.
